This therapy causes the body to sweat three times more than normal, eliminating toxins much more rapidly because the skin is one of the most potent elimination organs, while also burning three times more calories.
The human body produces two types of sweat during exertion:
- The first is produced by sweat glands during moderate physical activity.
- The second is produced by sebaceous glands. Sebaceous glands break down fats, including cholesterol, fatty acids, and subcutaneous fat, releasing toxins.
The latter only occurs during intense exercise, such as cardio, when the body starts using its deep fat reserves to transform them into energy. The detoxifying effect helps eliminate heavy metals and toxins contained in the sebaceous glands.
Typically, 4 sessions per month of 20 minutes each are recommended.
